Stockholm-based duo tibia have revealed their latest cut, ‘Loud with you (Angel)’. They explain that the track “takes place on a Saturday that also happens to be the last day on earth. You’re a bit hungover from yesterday, you're trying to build up courage to head out into the night while also knowing that this is your last chance. Express your secret love, unveil your deepest secrets and let out the angel you’ve always wanted to be.” It’s impressive that they’ve managed to express this concept musically: it’s playful and carefree, with a joyous explosion of melody subtly juxtaposing the almost industrial-sounding distorted guitars and heavy breakbeats. The pair have also announced details of their debut album, See what heaven looks like now, which is out on March 14th, 2025. -Dan Peeke
